What time should I show up?
We have classes for all ages starting at 9:45 A.M. We begin gathering for Worship at 10:45A.M. So that you won’t feel rushed, we do recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the service so that you have time to drop off your kids at their programs and make your way to the Worship Center.
What should I wear?
You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. The people that gather at Tarboro Church of God each Sunday wear anything from suits and dresses to jeans and t-shirts, though most wear business casual.
Are there programs for Kids?
Yes! We have classes for infants through 5th grade. While you are enjoying the worship service you can rest assured that your child will be both safe and having fun while learning the word of God. You are free to worship knowing that your child is being taken care of by very capable people.
What do yo have for Pre-Teen/Teens?
Aftershock exists so every student who comes here knows that God loves them and wants to be a part of their lives. We do everything we can to make that known by having amazing opportunities to connect with other students through weekly connection on Wednesday night activities, camps, and creative ministries that focus on the arts.
How can I get connected?
Attending a Sunday morning Bible Study is the first step to meeting others in your walk. A great way to grow in your relationship with Jesus is to have intentional relationships with people who have the same goal. The smaller environment of Sunday morning Bible Study is the ideal place for cultivating these relationships!
Will I have to say, sign or give anything?
If you are visiting, we won’t ask you to give a thing. We won’t make you wear a visitor badge. We want you to remain as comfortable as possible in a new environment, but we encourage you to visit our church over several weeks to see what’s going on here at Tarboro Church of God.
